HAVE YOU CHECKED OUT THE BLOG LATELY?  MAGIC in Vegas is like the mecca of the apparel industry. Buyers come to check out the latest trends and Brands exhibit to flex their creative muscles for the upcoming seasons.Ironically, 2008 will be my first trip to MAGIC and Vegas. However, rest assured I plan to make the most out of the experience! We had planned to exhibit this year but sampling delays for our Spring 2008 collection won't be done in time. This year Eric and I plan to go stealth and soak up as much of the show as possible... then come back in 2009, prepared, and ready to go! In lieu of possibly exhibiting this year I came across a really cool web feature slash cross promotion and posted it in our latest Blog entry. To give you the gist, Pepsi and MTV linked up to follow 3 designers as they exhibited at MAGIC. The result was a series of webisodes with a great inside look at what it takes to break into the apparel business and the struggles therein. I really enjoyed watching these so if your interested make sure you check out our blog section for all the details and links. Also, I just posted a fresh thread a few minutes ago. Indieclothingblog.com named Vintage Clothing Limited their "Brand of the Week"! Its a great website with lots of insider tips for aspiring apparel companies. I even wrote a guest article for them a few months back on importing and overseas manufacturing. Chris Jennings, the guy who runs that site is also responsible for helping me integrate our blog section into our website. Be sure to check them out, and hit our blog weekly for new updates and new entries! Always good stuff. Thanks again for all your support and Happy Holidays from Our Families To Yours! Be safe this Holiday and don't forget THE REASON FOR THE SEASON! Its very important not to get too wrapped up in the commercialism that this time often gets reduced to. Always remember the most important part about it. Reflection. Faith. And Family. I have two kids, a son who's 3 and a daughter who's 4 months old. My wife and I love to spend as much time with them and watching the excitement on their faces makes all the hard work we put in worth it. Its times like those that you never forget.
